VANESSA WALTERS / FIGHT OR FLIGHT
The first in a series of artist portraits features New York City based dancer / choreographer Vanessa Walters. Dance is an art form that requires no outside tools or forces besides the physical body given to us by nature. What better place to appreciate that form than in nature itself. Taken outside the context of the studio or the stage, dancing takes a breath of fresh air in this new environment.
Make The Work was brought in as a collaborative partner to create original content during the YouTube Fanfest Toronto. MTW directed a 10 person crew to deliver those unforgettable moments that occur when you see your idol perform for the first time.
ORGANON 9 / REBECCA PURCELL
Make The Work created a product-launch video for the Organon 9 Worlds card deck created by artist and stylist Rebecca Purcell. Purcell has designed a card deck in the tradition of the Tarot, but focused on the creative process, and referencing a new cosmology that uses aesthetic attraction to determine what cards are chosen.
BIG ELM BREWERY
Make The Work collaborated with Big Elm to develop the brand’s values, messaging, and create content for the newly-launched brewery. Lifestyle photography, short videos for social, and positioning were all part of the project.
SAMSUNG GALAXY LAUNCH
Make The Work collaborated with Good Sense & Co. to produce a series of title sequences for the Samsung x Casey Neistat Evening entitled “The Rest of Us”, a celebration of a new generation of creators using cutting-edge mobile products and technology to tell their stories.
Firefly engaged Make The Work to develop and execute content and product photography for the launch of their new vaporizer. MTW led the development and strategy of the new campaign and produced the short-form videos and seamless hero photography.
LE PETIT MORT
Editorial photo story exploring the relationships of some of life's perfectly simple pairings.
ST LUCIA TOURISM
Brand redesign and campaign for the island of St. Lucia. Saint Lucia has beaches and much more, a luxurious and diverse experience of the tropics punctuated by the Pitons, two mountains rising from the sea.
Trivet foods brought Make The Work in to advise on strategy and direction for the brand’s voice, as well as create short-form content and photography for all of their social channels.
FOUR SEASONS WORLD OF WONDER
The World of Wonder was a global brand promotion that included all 86 of the Four Seasons properties around the world. For each property a one of a kind experience was created. The videos were used as a teaser sent out through targeted digital media.

INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL BOSTON
These people are not in it for the red carpet and fancy schmantzy parties. They probably don’t know Graydon Carter, or even what he looks like. They just love film more than life itself. And it shows. We created an integrated campaign that communicated the idea that film was literally flowing in their veins. They don’t just love film, they are film. Sold out shows. The biggest attendance to date. Here’s to film.
